Day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu and begin your exploration with a visit to the famous Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, offering panoramic views of the city. Continue to the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you can admire the ancient architecture and visit the Kumari House, the residence of the Living Goddess. End your day at the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu temples, located on the banks of the Bagmati River.
Day 2 - Explore Bhaktapur and Patan
Take a short drive to Bhaktapur, a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its well-preserved medieval architecture. Wander through Bhaktapur Durbar Square, where you will see the 55-Window Palace, Vatsala Temple, and the Nyatapola Temple. In the afternoon, visit the nearby city of Patan, another ancient city with its own Durbar Square, featuring the Krishna Mandir and Patan Museum. Discover the rich history and artistry of the Newar people.
Day 3 - Sunrise at Nagarkot and Departure
Early morning, drive to Nagarkot, a hill station famous for its sunrise views over the Himalayas. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery, and if the weather is clear, you may even catch a glimpse of Mount Everest. After a peaceful morning, return to Kathmandu. Depending on your departure time, you may have some free time to explore the local markets or visit the Garden of Dreams before heading to the airport for your departure.
